Our days at the pinnacle are spent making drift dives over large congregations of schooling fish. Closer to the surface there could be Wahoo patrolling the area for their next meal, while deeper you might find a hefty Cubera Snapper or Amberjack lurking. There is an immense amount of life to be seen on these adventures. We have had whales pass us, played with local sharks, and even had a school of tuna make an appearance.

Runnin’ and gunnin’, the classic tuna hunting scenario. However, in Costa Rica the Yellowfin Tuna travel with the Spinner Dolphins. We will head for deeper waters, scanning the horizon for signs of life. When we find the dolphins, you will be making dives into large pods, sometimes containing hundreds of dolphins. It is within these pods that the tuna will be swimming. It will be your job to relax, slide off the boat, and quickly punch a dive.
